AC Shadows Reveals Surprising AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a bizarre collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the official release, "An unusual encounter draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying transformations reverberate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret cult.
The adventure concentrates on "strange trials and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
